Things to Do

The caravan is a great place to have as a base if you want to explore the area around. Coming back year after year with different combinations of family and friends there has always been something new to discover or old haunts to return to and rediscover. Last year we fell in love again with Porthclais and the national trust teashop there!

Sea fishing is excellent in this part of Pembrokeshire. You can fish locally at Pencarnan off the rocks and bring home Bass, Pollock or Mackerel. Many anglers also fish from their kayaks.

Whitesands beach, adjacent to Porthsele, is renowned for its surfing and can be easily accessed on foot from Pencarnan, or a short drive away by car. Surf boards and kayaks etc. can be stored under the caravan.

St Justinians in the other direction has the lifeboat station and is the starting point for many boat and fishing trips, taking in Ramsey island and Skoma and at different times of year seeing seals, puffins and more.
